CHAN: Eagles battle Guinea for q/final

Super Eagles midfielder, Osas Okoro insists victory against Guinea in today’s third preliminary game against Guinea at the ongoing 2016 African Nations Championship (Chan) is non-negotiable.
The Sunday Oliseh-tutored side will go toe to toe with the Syli Nationale at Umuganda Stadium, Gisenyi with the victor progressing to the last eight of the tournament.

Osas says the Super Eagles must take their destiny into their own hands by going for an outright win against the Syli.

“We will give our best against Guinea to make sure we come out victorious at the end of the game,” Okoro told reporters in Kigali.v Okoro has been impressive at the tournament; netting in Nigeria’s opening 4-1 win over Niger and playing a starring role in the side’s second game -a 1-1 draw with Tunisia which saw him being named man of the match.
