Cynthian Morgan and Davido one on one

Wow! The reggae dancehall artist and Northside Inc. First lady Cynthia Morgan who recently revealed that she would love to go out on a date with OBO, HKN Gang boss, pop star Davido ,
has lashes out on Davido.
On Sunday, October 18, Davido, in a show of solidarity, tweeted at YBNL singer Lil Kesh and told him to pull a Kanye West at the upcoming Headies if he doesn’t win the ‘Next Rated’ award.
Davido’s choice of winner at the forthcoming Headies award has pitched him against German juice singer, Cynthia Morgan.

Davido was referring to the 2009 MTV VMAs when Kanye West interrupted Taylor Swift’s speech.
While other artistes who were nominated in that category ignored the tweet, the German Juice singer who stumbled upon it will not take it lying down with Davido.

'Davido called me a cow and I called him names ' Cynthia Morgan reviews.

Damn what's Nigeria music turning into?  Too many beefs and rivalry going on lately,  This is another of Cynthia and Davido,  hey c'mon guys grow up,  y'all should think of collabing together and giving us good songs instead of behaving childish.

Y'all are role models to people out there,  so pls quit this and let the people learn and immitate the good things in y'all not this.
Am a good fan tho of y'all
One love

Dami Crane Accuses Wizkid of Stealing His Song

Remember we had us another celebrity drama yesterday when “Amin” singer Dammy Krane accused fellow pop singer Wizkid of stealing song ideas from him.

A lot of people were wondering how that could have been since Wizkid is supposed to be a bigger industry fish to begin with than Dammy Krane. In a set of new Instagram post, Dammy Krane has apologized to his fans about the way he handled things but reminding them that he is also human.

It seems the brother could not simply keep silent on the matter any more even though Wizkid has not given a direct response to the creative theft allegations.

According to Dammy Krane his songs – chorus and verses, he alleges that the slang “Park, baby pull over” from KCEE’s “Pull Over” which Wizkid was featured on is his idea plus Wizkid’s “Baba nla” chorus and verse belongs to him.

Putting mouth for the matter, Kiss Daniels had earlier written an open letter in which it was obvious that he was supporting Wizkid due to Wizzy’s recent cover of Kiss Daniel ’s own song. But wetin concern Kiss Daniel for the matter or who call am? In the meantime, we are still waiting for Wizkid to directly answer to the accusations.

'I have a problem with thieves who intimidates others' ..... Dami Crane

Now this is another viral beef issue between Dami Crane and Wizkid,  as he accuses Wizkid of stealing his song.  Wizkid as we all know is a very talented musician but as we all know no one is perfect.  This could be true but we still got our fingers crossed. Oh c'mon Wizkid I hope this ain't true cos if it is then damn you are so out of the way and it's gonna be a big disappointment to all of your fans out there,  Thank God I ain't one LOL

Top Abuja preacher predicts death of top Nollywoood actress, others in 2016

Dashing General Overseer of the Abuja based Divine Hand of God Prophetic Ministries, Prophet Emmanuel Omale, who had Jim Iyke as his best man when he wedded years back has called for prayers to prevent the violent death of a top Nollywood female star. He said if fervent prayers aren’t offered the star would either die in a deadly road accident, an armed robbery attack or of high blood pressure.
He also said a former Governor’s wife in the South-South should pray against bereavement and detection of terminal illness. The Prophet also declared that he sees many billionaires crying as many of them would fall in the year.
According to him, many of those who made their money through dubious means would end up in jail while new and younger billionaires would rise up to replace them. On Boko Haram, he said the power of the group has been greatly reduced, but a top military boss may die in combat.
In fact he has advised Nigerians to take President Muhammadu Buhari’s war against corruption seriously. This is as he warned that two newly appointed ministers be careful about getting involved in a financial scandal that will see them being sacked and jailed.
The young seer who correctly predicted the emergence of Bala Ngilari as Adamawa State governor, among other accurate predictions also said two serving Senators should pray against scandalous revelations which could lead to heart attack. Omale equally said that he saw billions of naira embezzled from the past government being returned openly and that there will be 17 months of prosperity for Nigeria as oil price improves.
He therefore admonished Nigerians to support the government of President Muhammadu Buhari as “the current hardship would soon be over”. According to him, by the middle of 2016, there would be money in circulation and “all the present hardship would gradually ease off”.
The Prophet gave his 2016 prophesies to a jam-packed service at his Area 1 Garki church penultimate week.
“President Buhari will be the best President the country ever had and he would lay super structure foundation that would lead to economic growth and development for Nigeria” He further said that by 2020, Nigeria will become the envy of nations, adding that Nigeria would not divide despite the pro-Biafra agitation, as the whole issue will be resolved amicably and the country will wax strong even as Buhari implements some parts of the National Confab reports.

David Bowie Dies at Age 69 After Battling Cancer

David Bowie has died after a battle with cancer, his rep
confirmed to Billboard. He was 69.

"David Bowie died peacefully today surrounded by his family
after a courageous 18 month battle with cancer. While many
of you will share in this loss, we ask that you respect the
family’s privacy during their time of grief," read a statement
posted on the artist's official social media accounts.
The influential singer-songwriter and producer excelled at glam rock, art rock, soul, hard rock, dance pop, punk and electronica during his eclectic 40-plus-year career.

He just released his 25th album, Blackstar , Jan. 8, which was
his birthday.
Bowie’s artistic breakthrough came with 1972’s The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars , an album that fostered the notion of rock star as space alien. Fusing British mod with Japanese kabuki styles and rock with theater, Bowie created the flamboyant, androgynous alter ego Ziggy Stardust.

David Bowie's Death: Musicians and Celebs React on Social
Media, Three years later, Bowie achieved his first major American
crossover success with the No. 1 single “Fame” off the top 10
album Young Americans , then followed with the 1976 avant- garde art rock LP Station to Station, which made it to No. 3 on the charts and featured top 10 hit “Golden Years.”

Other memorable songs included 1983’s “Let’s Dance” — his only other No. 1 U.S. hit — “Space Oddity,” “Heroes,”
“Changes,” “Under Pressure,” “China Girl,” “Modern Love,” “Rebel, Rebel,” “All the Young Dudes,” “Panic in Detroit,” “Fashion,” “Life on Mars,” “Suffragette City” and a 1977 Christmas medley with Bing Crosby.
With his different-colored eyes (the result of a schoolyard fight) and needlelike frame, Bowie was a natural to segue from music into curious movie roles, and he starred as an alien seeking help for his dying planet in Nicolas Roeg’s surreal The Man Who Fell to Earth (1976). Critics later applauded his three-month Broadway stint as the misshapen lead in
1980’s The Elephant Man .

Bowie also starred in Marlene Dietrich’s last film, Just a Gigolo (1978), portrayed a World War II prisoner of war in Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence (1983), and played Pontius Pilate in Martin Scorsese’s The Last Temptation of Christ (1988). He also starred as Jareth the Goblin King in the 1986 cult favorite Labyrinth , opposite Jennifer Connelly. And in another groundbreaking move, Bowie, who always embraced
technology, became the first rock star to morph into an Internet Service Provider with the launch in September 1998 of BowieNet.

Born David Jones in London on Jan. 8, 1947, Bowie changed his name in 1966 after The Monkees’ Davy Jones achieved stardom. He played saxophone and started a mime company, and after stints in several bands he signed with Mercury Records, which in 1969 released his album Man of Words, Man of Music , which featured “Space Oddity,” a poignant song about an astronaut, Major Tom, spiraling out of control.
In an attempt to stir interest in Ziggy Stardust, Bowie revealed in a January 1972 magazine interview that he was gay — though that might have been a publicity stunt — dyed his hair orange and began wearing women’s garb. The album became a sensation.

Wrote rock critic Robert Christgau: “This is audacious stuff right down to the stubborn wispiness of its sound, and Bowie's actorly intonations add humor and shades of meaning to the words, which are often witty and rarely precious, offering an unusually candid and detailed vantage on the rock star’s world.”

Bowie changed gears in 1975. Becoming obsessed with the dance/funk sounds of Philadelphia, his self-proclaimed “plastic soul”-infused Young Americans peaked at No. 9 with the single “Fame,” which he co-wrote with John Lennon and guitarist Carlos Alomar.

After the soulful but colder Station to Station, Bowie again confounded expectations after settling in Germany by recording the atmospheric 1977 album Low , the first of his “Berlin Trilogy” collaborations with keyboardist Brian Eno.

David Bowie’s ‘Blackstar’ Is Filled With Songs About Death and Doom: Album Review In 1980, Bowie brought out Scary Monsters, which cast a nod to the Major Tom character from “Space Oddity” with the sequel “Ashes to Ashes.” He followed with Tonight in 1984 and Never Let Me Down in 1987 and collaborations with Queen, Mick Jagger, Tina Turner, The Pat Metheny Group and others. He formed the quartet Tin Machine, but the band didn’t garner much critical acclaim or commercial gain with two albums.

Bowie returned to a solo career with 1993’s Black Tie White Noise , which saw him return to work with his Spider From Mars guitarist Mick Ronson, then recorded 1995’s Outside with Eno and toured with Nine Inch Nails as his opening act.

He returned to the studio in 1996 to record the techno- influenced Earthling. Two more albums, 1999’s hours … and 2002’s Heathen , followed.

Bowie also produced albums for, among others, Lou Reed, Iggy Pop and The Stooges and Moot the Hoople, for which he wrote the song “All the Young Dudes.” He earned a lifetime achievement Grammy Award in 2006 but never performed onstage again.

Bowie was relatively quiet between the years of 2004 and 2012, reemerging in 2013 with the album The Next Day . Its arrival was met with a social media firestorm which catapulted it to No. 2 on the Billboard 200, his highest charting album ever.

While demand for a tour by the reclusive rock star had been relentless, Bowie kept a decidedly low profile, maintaining a residence in New York but rarely seen.

Bowie recently opened the rock musical Lazarus in New York City, in which he revisits the character he played in The Man Who Fell to Earth . The project — based on American writer Walter Tevis' 1963 sci-fi novel, directed by Ivo van Hove and starring Michael C. Hall — was initiated by Bowie, who has long nurtured the idea of a return to the character he played onscreen.

A video for the song "Lazarus," which is included on the album Blackstar, was released on Jan. 7.

Survivors include his wife, the model Iman, whom Bowie married in 1992; his son, director Duncan Jones; and daughter Alexandria.

David Bowie's Death: Musicians, Celebs and World Leaders React on Social Media

THE BEST AND WORSE MOMENTS OF THE 2016 GOLDEN GLOBES

Ricky Gervais speaks onstage during the 73rd Annual Golden
Globe Awards at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on January 10, 2016
in Beverly Hills, California.

Sunday evening's 2016 Golden Globes were full of surprises,
with enough upsets to completely torpedo your office pool.
In between shocking winners (the best awards show treat of
all!), viewers were treated to an emotional Lady Gaga
(Hooray!), as well as a disappointing host in Ricky Gervais. All
the while, the dresses were excellent, the champagne was
clearly free-flowing, and Jennifer Lawrence was just as
charming as one would expect.

Check out just a few of the best and worst moments from the
evening below:

Worst: Ricky Gervais' Transphobic Jokes

Ricky Gervais’ "I'm so bad" shtick is tired -- and what was
with all the transgender "jokes"? Surely a comedian
responsible for The Office can think of something funnier.
While some of his edgy remarks certainly landed (as long as
your name isn’t Ben Affleck or Mel Gibson), his repeated
transphobic comments were a real disappointment.

Best: Unexpected Winners

Christian Slater ( Mr. Robot ), Gael Garcia Bernal ( Mozart in the
Jungle) and other unexpected winners made the actual
envelope-opening moments fairly exciting, while on the movies
side, a surprise win for The Revenant means the Oscar race
continues to be one of the most wide-open in years.

Best: Rachel Bloom’s Win

Rachel Bloom’s excited, spirited acceptance speech for her
role in Crazy Ex-Girlfriend was the first delightful moment of
the night. Definitely considered an underdog going into the
evening, Bloom recounted all the rejection the show received
before finally making it to air on the CW. The fact that the win
probably guarantees the show a second season means it’s the
perfect time for viewers to catch up -- it's definitely worth it.

Worst: Jamie Foxx's Fake Announcement

Should Straight Outta Compton have been nominated? Sure.
But joke announcing it as the winner took away from the
other, real nominees. Not cool.

Best: Standing Ovation for Sylvester Stallone

“I’m going to try not to get emotional,” Stallone began. “Last
time I was here was 1977…and the view is so beautiful now.”
Before emotionally thanking his family, he concluded, “I want
to thank my imaginary friend Rocky Balboa for being the best
friend I ever had." And for those at home who were
disappointed Stallone didn't thank Creed director Ryan
Coogler, apparently he came back onstage and did -- TV just
didn't show it .

Worst: All the Bleeping

Leave something for people at home to watch – or allow an
R-rated livestream.

Best: Aziz Ansari's Nomination Shot

Taking a cue from his former co-star/prank lover Amy
Poehler, during his nomination shot Ansari was shown reading
a book titled Losing to Jeffrey Tambor with
(Bleeping) Dignity. It was a super funny split-second -- but
shockingly, while the smart money was on Tambor, the award
for best actor in a comedy series wound up going to Gael
Garcia Bernal.

Worst: Taraji P. Henson Getting Played Off

Give Cookie a moment. Related: Later in the show, Ridley
Scott also waved off attempts to play him off. When you
directed Alien, you can do whatever you want.

Best: Lady Gaga’s Earnest, Emotional Speech

“I feel like Cher in that John Patrick Shanley film Moonstruck
right now, this is one of the greatest moments of my life," she
said onstage, thanking American Horror Story creator
Ryan Murphy and the cast. "You're my family forever. ...
Because of you, I was able to shine, I guess. So thank you for
sharing your talent with me. I wanted to be an actress before
I wanted to be a singer, but music worked out first." Bonus:
Whatever this was .

Best: Standing Ovation for Leo

Leonardo DiCaprio has won Golden Globes before, but the
standing ovation given to him following his win for The
Revenant means Oscar glory might finally be his, right? Also,
DiCaprio can always be counted on for a coherent speech. As
goofy as this all is (and awards shows are extremely silly),
it's also nice to simply be serious occasionally. Side note: Is
it too much to ask for the Awards Show Gods (or just an on-
the-ball photographer) to give us a picture of DiCaprio next to
fellow winner Kate Winslet?

Federal government officially stops payment of subsidy on petrol

The absence of the usual subsidy component in the
latest Petroleum Products Pricing template from the
Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency,
PPPRA, has indicated the federal government’s
decision to officially stopped paying subsidy on the
premium motor spirit, PMS, better known as petrol.
The official pricing template for petrol by the PPPRA
as of December 28, 2015 saw the Federal
Government subsidising the product by N6.45 per
litre when the Estimated Open Market Price, EOMP,
at that time was N93.45. This was N6.45 higher
than the then retail price of N87 per litre.
The EOMP is the summation of the landing cost of
petrol and subtotal margins which include
transporter’s cost, dealer’s charge, bridging fund,
administrative charge, etc. This, to experts, makes
EOMP the true cost of the product.
On the revised template, the EOMP set by the
government agency that regulates the prices of
petroleum products in the country is now N84.78 for
NNPC fuel stations and N85.1 for stations run by
other oil marketer companies.
Prior to the release of the revised template, the
EOMP was usually higher than the retail/pump price
of petrol at filling stations, with the federal
government paying the difference between the retail
price and the EOMP as subsidy to oil marketers.
With the new EOMP being lower than the retail price
of N86.5 set by the Federal Government as what
petrol should be sold nationwide, this means that
Nigerians are paying an extra N1.4 for the
commodity whenever they buy PMS at non-NNPC
run petrol stations and N1.22 extra for every litre of
petrol bought at NNPC-run filling stations.
Last Tuesday, the PPPRA had, after getting approval
from the Federal Government, announced that retail
fuel stations belonging to the NNPC would from
Friday, January 1, 2016 sell petrol at N86 per litre,
while other oil marketers would sell the commodity
at N86.5 per litre.
It explained through its Executive Secretary, Mr.
Farouk Ahmed, that the reduction in the price of the
commodity was due to the implementation of the
revised components of the petroleum products
pricing template for PMS and Household Kerosene.

US Condemns Third Term Bid By Rwandan President

The statement, issued by Department of State spokesperson
John Kirby, noted that the President Kagame’s decision to run
for a third term undermined Rwandan democracy.
“President Kagame ignores an historic opportunity to reinforce
and solidify the democratic institutions the Rwandan people
have for more than twenty years laboured so hard to
establish.
“The United States believes constitutional transitions of power
are essential for strong democracies and that efforts by
incumbents to change rules to stay in power weaken
democratic institutions,” Mr. Kirby stated.
President Kagame recently held a referendum allowing him to
run for a third term. On New Year's Day he announced he
would be running in 2017.

Lawyers Call For Rape Crisis Center

The lawyers noted that the high incidence of rape affecting
the country called for a more concerted effort to thwart the
problem.
One lawyer, Chinelo Oputa, pointed out that impunity was one
of the primary reasons behind the high rape rate in Nigeria.
She explained that many cases are not properly investigated
even those cases that are prosecuted generally result in no
conviction or a light punishment.
“Despite the prevalence of rape and violence cases, offenders
are neither arrested nor prosecuted.
“Even when arrest is made, prosecutors are often reluctant to
take on such cases seriously,” she said.
Another lawyer, Oluwaseye Odediran, explained that very few
rape victims receive any sort of counseling or assistance.
Many of the lawyers interviewed agreed that sensitization
programs needed to be implemented in order to educate
communities about the scourge of sexual violence.

Buhari Supporters Write Petition To Counter Anti-Buhari Petition

Buhari leaves Abuja for South Africa
The petition in support of President Buhari, started on
iPetitions by Audu Bukarti, states that “some political
prostitutes and their clients have started an online petition
calling on PMB to resign his office for their allegation that the
president shown total lack of respect to Court Order when
refused to release two high profile accused persons, Colonel
Sambo Dasuki and the Biafran separatist leader, Nnamdi
Kanu.”
Mr. Bukarti continues, “this petition is a calculated attempt to
demoralize our president and truncate his war against
corruption in public offices.”
A December 31st petition written by Carol Ajie on Change.org,
which calls for President Buhari’s resignation, has received
approximately 2,033 supporters at the time of this publication.
The petition argues that President Buhari has violated his oath
of office because he has not discharged his duties faithfully
and in accordance with the Constitution. The petition against
President Buhari claims that “in holding Mr Kanu [detained by
the Department of State Services] beyond the required period
they have infracted on the Immigration Act, the Administration
of Criminal Justice Act, the Constitution of the Federal
Republic of Nigeria 1999 and subsisting court orders.”
The Change.org petition asserts that “President Buhari
[should] resign from office or face impeachment proceedings.
Alternatively avoid another Burundi, call him to comply with
the Orders of Courts.”
At the time of publication the petition in support of President
Buhari, which started on January 3rd 2016, has approximately
3,064 signatures
These dueling petitions are the latest form of online activism
in Nigeria questioning the legitimacy and leadership of
President Buhari. Online and social media have been critical of
President Buhari’s treatment of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of
the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), who was unlawfully
arrested by agents of the Department of State Services (DSS).
President Buhari has also been widely criticized for his many
trips to foreign countries and the massacre of Shiite Muslims
by the military in Zaria, Kaduna State.

Davido, Sophia and Baby Imade feud

A case has been filed against music star Davido by the
mother of his daughter, Sophia Momodu. Sophia accused
Davido of attempted child trafficking and abduction of their
months old child Imade Adeleke.
According to the petition that was filed to the Director
General of National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons today, Davido , her father, chief Adeleke and his half sister Ashley Coco Adeleke tried to leave Nigeria with Imade Adeleke yesterday but were stopped by an immigration officer who resisted their travel.
Dr. Dele Momodu also played a key role in ensuring Davido
and his family didn’t leave Nigeria forcefully with the child
yesterday.
Davido however has taken to Snapchat to rant about his
baby mama and how she is an “ugly ass”, although he
didn’t mention her name.
Davido now appears to have left the country for a new
year eve show he has abroad.

The petition filed by his baby mama can be seen below

The Director General
National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in
Persons

No. 2028 Delaba Street
Wuse Zone 5
FCT, Abuja

Dear Madam,

PETITION AGAINST MISS ASHLEY COCO ADELEKE & MR
ADEDEJI ADELEKE FOR ATTEMPTED CHILD TRAFFICKING
AND ABDUCTION OF MISS AURORA IMADE ADELEKE

We act as Solicitors for Miss. Sophia Ajibola Momodu,
(hereinafter referred to as our client) whose instructions
we have to forward this petition to your esteemed Agency.
Our client, a 27 year old, is the biological mother of a baby
girl with name, Aurora Imade Adeleke, who was born on
the 14th day of May 2015. The baby’s father is Mr. David
Adedeji Adeleke (aka Davido ). The father and mother are
unmarried.
On the 11th July, 2015, our client was tricked to visit the
house of Mr. David Adedeji Adeleke’s half sister – Miss
Ashley Coco Adeleke’s with her baby, Imade Aurora
Adeleke. After getting to the house on Baderinwa Alabi
Street, Lekki Phase I, Lagos, our client’s baby was
forcefully taken from her and she was thrown out of the
premises with the threat that she would be decisively dealt
with if she ever bothered to return there. There were
armed policemen in the premises and our client’s survival
instinct prevailed on her to make her leave her breast
suckling baby behind, with so much pain in her heart.
By daybreak on the next day, our client was again at
Ashley Coco Adeleke’s house to take her baby, but she
was prevented by armed policemen from gaining access
into the house. She was again threatened and warned
never to return for the child.
Since July 2015, our client, who has now become so
disorientated, saddened and confused has been going to
family members, including her cousin, Mr Dele Momodu,
and other well meaning Nigerians to intervene and allow
her get her baby back or at least allow her to be able to
have access to and care for her daughter. This was
frustrated by Coco Adeleke, David Adeleke and their father,
Mr. Adedeji Adeleke. These people boasted to our client
and all her family and friends that our client is a nonentity
and of little substance in Nigeria. They also claim that
they have the financial wherewithal and political and
security clout to deal with her and her family anyhow and
without any consequence with the aid of their brother and
uncle, Senator Isiaka Adeleke, and other friends Mr Deji
Adeleke purportedly has in government. In a bid to justify
their actions, Mr Deji Adeleke and his daughter, Ashley
Coco Adeleke, have been spreading several malicious and
unfounded allegations about our client.
While the attempts at finding a peaceful and lasting
solution were still ongoing, on Tuesday the 29th December
2015, Ashley Coco Adeleke and her father, Mr Deji Adeleke,
tried to travel to Dubai with our client’s baby. The baby
was meant to be flown out of the country with Nigerian
and American passports. Prior to that date, our client and
her cousin, Mr Dele Momodu, had gone to alert the
immigration services at the Murtala Mohammed, Ikeja
International airport of the likelihood of Ashley Coco
Adeleke travelling with our client’s baby by pretending to
be the Mother. Our client believes that her baby’s
American passport was hidden and is now likely to be in
possession of Mr Deji Adeleke or Ashley Coco Adeleke. It
appears that the assistance of Emirates Airline was sought
as the baby’s American passport was not produced in
breach of aviation regulations. Neither was a letter of
authority from the mother to confirm her consent to the
trip produced despite the airline being alerted.
When Mrs. Modupe Mofikoya, the immigration officer who
attended to the Adeleke travelling party accosted Ashley
Coco Adeleke and asked for the mother of the baby, Ashley
Adeleke claimed that she was the mother. Immediately,
the immigration officer on duty collected her Nigerian
international passport, she quickly absconded from the
scene with the baby and her father, Mr Deji Adeleke,
showed up shortly afterwards to try to clear his
daughter’s mess.
Our client with the help of her family members, including
Mr Dele Momodu, determinedly resisted the attempt by
Miss Ashley Coco Adeleke and her father, Mr Deji Adeleke,
from taking Aurora Imade Adeleke from Lagos yesterday.
Our client believes that the pair are trying to take the child
to America and thus put her out of the reach of the
biological mother.
At the moment, Miss Ashley Coco Adeleke and our client’s
daughter, Aurora Imade Adeleke
are still in Lagos and two of their respective international
passports are in the custody of the airport immigration
services. Our client’s fear now, is that Ashley Coco may
use her Nigerian passport and Aurora Imade’s American
passport to travel through other Nigerian or West African
airports.
We know that the actions of Mr Deji Adeleke and Miss
Ashley Coco Adeleke contravene many provisions of the
law. One is Section 13 of the Childs Right Law 2007 of
Lagos State (as adapted from the Federal Act), which
guarantees Aurora Imade Adeleke’s right to parental care
and protection. That law also forbids separation of a child
from her parents. Another is Section 24 of the same law,
which also prohibits abduction of a child from the lawful
custody of her parents. Neither Mr Deji Adeleke or Ms
Ashley Coco Adeleke has any lawful right to the custody of
Aurora Imade Adeleke. Even the unmarried father, Mr
David Adedeji Adeleke, only has limited rights to the child
and certainly not to the exclusion of our client, the natural
mother as the Adeleke’s are trying to do.
We are of the sound view that your Agency is the most
viable organisation that can intervene in the plight of our
client and save her from the untold trauma that she is
going through in the hands of Mr Deji Adeleke and Ashley
Coco Adeleke, who has her own child that she keeps with
her. We have advised our client about the statutory powers
of your Agency to potently investigate and enforce all the
provisions of the law that deal with abduction and
trafficking in persons.
We urge you to use your good offices to intervene in the
case of our client and protect a baby who should still be
under her mother’s care from being abducted and
smuggled abroad.

We thank you.

Yours faithfully,

O. AJAYI & CO./Gbolaga Ajayi Esq.

Davido ’s manager Kamal however told a reporter of Naij
that the baby was taken from the mother because she
uses drugs
“The baby was taken away from her due induced drugs
found in her (baby) system which she obivioly got through
the mother’s breast. David’s family is only helping her and
the baby,”
“David’s family prevented him (David) from reporting her
to the NDLEA and as we speak, the baby was recently
treated in Dubai. The baby cannot even breathe properly.
“The family has done everything to take care of the mother
and child. We rented an apartment for her and she gets
three hundred thousand naira monthly as upkeep. What
else will the family do? To be honest, not sane family will
take a child away from the mother for no reason,”

Birth of Imade Adeleke

When the second trimester of Sophia’s pregnancy was
closing, she tortuously announced to me that she was in
the family way.
My mind was bemused, and so was my soul confused.
But I quickly realized that nothing more could be done to alter my status as a father-to-be.
I knew that i was not ready to be a dad. Still, I adjusted
myself to the realities of my new situation and the
consequences of my past personal indiscretions.
I made the determination that I was going to be a good
dad. I also reasoned that my blunder is not enough
pretext to make me a husband. I was just 21. And so I
decided to be a responsible dad without being husband
to the mother of my baby. I never was in love with
Sophia neither was marriage ever in the offering.
Without knowing for sure that I was the real dad of the baby, I entrusted Sophia to the services of a private hospital for both pre-natal and post-natal medical cares. An apartment at Lekki was leased for 2 years, and paid for by me. The burden of medical bills, feeding, transportation and sundry costs rested on my person. No family member of Sophia including Uncle Dele Momodu rose to help nor guide Sophia.
I own my property at Lekki and had allowed Sophia to stay in the house because she claimed that she knew nobody in
Lagos and that her father was deceasedwhilst her mother was resident in Abuja. For real, Sophia was a drifter without a dime, education nor career. My compassion, ignorance, naivety and poor judgment had combined to make me a victim to a much older lady with super cunning sense that was mixed with a vicious and diabo lical nature. I stand accused but calmly accepted my responsibility for the sad misadventure that caused me to be a seat-mate with Sophia on a plane that was flying nowhere.
All along, I have only been generous with Sophia without
knowing for sure I was the father to the baby she was
carrying. On May 14, 2015, Sophia delivered her baby named Imade. It was after Sophia had deliveredthe baby that DNA testing medically confirmed that I was indeed the biological father of our child named Imade.

Once this status was obtained, Sophia started to apply
maximum financial demands on me. I bought all the baby
things and fully furnished her apartment. Sophia knew well
how to spend money and yet contributed zero to the vast
expenses that I incurred. None in her family contributed even a fake coin to the cost of having Imade.
Uncle Dele Momodu, now the pompous moralist, never visited Sophia nor even delivered an ordinary greeting card to Imade nor to her mum. Throughout the many months that Sophia stayed at my house when she claimed she has no family in Lagos, Uncle Dele Momodu and his bossy wife never showed up at my house to say hello to either of us.
When the going was good, Sophia had told me plenty things about her uncle Dele Momodu that I need not repeat here. And she never invited me to go with her to visit him and I don’t have the knowledge that she ever visited him throughout the time she stayed in my house. She always explained that a visit to Uncle Dele was needless and unnecessary. Uncle Dele Momodu never liked, and still does not like Sophia. He is now just grandstanding because Sophia had a baby for a fairly prominent family and famous Davido.
The case of MrsMomodu baffles me even more. Why did she not think it necessary to move to Sophia’s apartment to help her out and show her the tricks of motherhood when Imade was newly born. Not once did she visit Sophia and her baby until December 2015. She gave neither care, love nor financial support to Sophia. Now, at 7 months old, and a child with special medical needs, MrsMomodu rushed to the Lagos Airport to make an awful botch of her standing as a mother:
MrsMomodu certainly not a good person. She put time and
energy to prevent my daughter and I,the real father of Imade, from travelling aboard to keep an appointment with the American Hospital, Dubai. At the point of dying in November, 2015Imade had been rushed to this medical facility in Dubai, where she received helpful and adequate treatment, and was duly returned to Nigeria, without any side excursions.
What then suddenly propels the fear or dangerous love
ofMr&MrsMomodu for Sophia? I deeply sense this couple
never loved Sophia nor her late father. They also resent her
mum, and probably are jealous that Sophia ever became a
mum herself, and thus, wish that Sophia’s daughter who is
also my daughter, must needlessly perish.
Where is the inherent value in a callous human ploy that
directly intends to prevent a child from receiving necessary
medical care aboard once the biological father, DavidAdeleke, the child’s grandfather and all my siblings who are uncles and aunties to Imadeare booked to fly on this essential medical trip to which we have attached a restful family vacation?
Sophia ain’t a member of our family, period.
Surely, Sophia was not with Imade when she first visited
Dubai, and yet Imade was promptly returned to Nigeria. And no one said Sophia cannot come to Dubai except that I
declared that I don’t want the trip to seem like a spousal get-away. Sophia ain’t my wife and I refuse to let any action conspire to make us look like a couple. She seemed unable or unwilling to pay her way to Dubai. Also, her boastful Uncle, alas, refused to volunteer to pay her way to Dubai. I never suggested to an elder what he should take up as his personal responsibility if indeed he cared at all for Sophia as his robust involvement in our odd relationship wishes to establish. MrMomodu never bought the ticket but wanted to enforce his cosine to join my family on this Dubai trip.
Dangerous lights are furiously blinking red around my
daughter, Sophia and my person. Uncle Dele Momodu and his wife are providers of the energy espousing the idea of a
needless death to my daughter. I now say it loud and clear,
should my daughter die, this strange couple are mainly
responsible. Mr Dele Momodu should just leave me and my family alone! His daughter is not who had a baby for me, and he has been too much of an absentee uncle to Sophia to have any traction on the moral authority that commands the soul and heart of this matter. Sophia Never formally introduced him nor his wife to me, at anytime. Why are they now crowding my space and that of my daughter?
Custody, Lifestyle and Imade’s Loss of Wellness
In May, the same month Imade was born, Sophia settled in
her fancy apartment for which I paid a hefty bill for a 2 year
lease. Her baby was healthy. And she seemed happy. I would take care of all the financial needs of Imade and still pay Sophia a living allowance of 300,000 Naira plus utility bills.
Within a matter of weeks, Sophia missing and lusting for the streets of Lagos, especially the glitzy night life. She often left Imade home for clubbing, binge drinking and a life of debauchery and deviant living. She would sleep all day and party all night. When awake, she was addicted to the
telephone and cannabis. She paid the baby no attention at all and seem to despise motherhood and parenting.
Imadewas in her custody for2 straight months, unchallenged and uninterrupted, until the baby took badly and severely ill in July. Imade cried, ceaselessly, for 48 hours. She was rushed to the hospital where her condition confounded medical experts. Several tests were conducted on her and later on the mother.
Medical reports, herein attached (exhibit 1), proved
that Sophia’s blood was polluted to the maximum level with cannabis and she had by the process of breast feeding
infected her child with complicated medical conditions
associated with the use of alcohol and especially cannabis.
The trouble spot for Imade was her lungs. She had difficulty breathing largely because of the contaminated breast milk and the severity of the “Second Smoke” of marijuana inhaled by the poor child.
The medical experts at the hospital were enraged by the
callous treatment of Imade by her own mother and declared her unfit for the caring and the nursing of a delicate baby. The team determined that they would hand over the baby to the Children’s Welfare Authority of Lagos State Government. My family started to plead with the hospital management. For the first time, Sophia too was sober, sorry and contrite. We pleaded that the baby would be kept from the mother once she was returned to us, and that we would take over responsibilities for Imade’s welfare.
Voluntarily, Sophia, in the attempt to avoid the handing over of the baby to the children welfare authority, agreed to a compromise position that she would transfer Imade to the Adeleke family until the cannabis in the systems of both mum and daughter was completely outand comprehensively cleaned out. The medical expert also indicated that the full damage to Imade’s person could not be ascertained right away and that her mental state now or in d future could not be determined nor predicted until perhaps when she would have attained adulthood. This was why and how Imade was transferred to the custody of the Adeleke family.
Soonest, Sophia began to make vigorous demands for the
brand new car promised to her by me in May. My father stood out of all this matter and pointedly told me that although I was very young but I was already making big income and therefore must learn to be a responsible adult who takes care of business properly and accordingly. He had instructed since May, that i should provide the mother of my baby with a car, without delay.
But I have since had a change of mind on this issue because, of Sophia’s night crawling activities and reckless partying at night clubs. Her clubbing rendezvous escalated. In fact, she had gone to a club on Victoria Island and spent 250,000 Naira in one night. Unashamedly, she told the management of the club to slap “Davido” with the bill. I have refused to pay but till date, the club has never let off the harassment of my person for the settlement of this wild bill. I still don’t believe that my obstinacy will finally absorbed from the payment of this reckless charge. This was one of the main reason I put the purchase of the car on hold Meanwhile,Imade was increasingly worse off in wellness and she had to be flown to the American hospital in Dubai. I wrote a letter of release authorizing my sister to travel to Dubai with Imade. The hospital saved Imade who was returned to Nigeria with a medical equipment that had to be used daily to enable Imade to gain restful sleep and balanced respiratory rhythm.
The photograph of this equipment is hereby attached.
If Imade had not gone to Dubai, it is fair to say that she may not be alive today. Still, some people prevented her from keeping a follow-up appointment at the American Hospital in Dubai. For the silliest possible reason. My family would not pay for Sophia’s flight ticket and thus Imade would be disallowed from traveling for the vital purpose of medical conditions that lend oxygen to her life. Which is more important to Mr Dele Momomdu, the ticket for his cousin or the overall wellness of Imade? And why can’t this glamorous uncle buy the ticket for Sophia so that the life of imade is not compromised?
The claim has been made that the aborted trip to Dubia was to takeImade to America. This is not true.Imade’s Nigerian passport is right now with the Immigration Office with no American Visa embossed on it and Imade, though qualified to possess an American Passport because her dad is an American citizen, still does not possess an American passport.
True, her passport is being processed but the truancy of her
mother has caused a major delay. I therefore ask, how
willImade have entered America without a visa on her Nigerian passport? The great dynamics of lying is that the liar is the first to know that he has told a lie, and the lies told would certainly demolish his integrity and the peace of his soul.
Uncle Dele Momodu, beware!
So poor in understanding is the cerebral capacity of your
cousin or niece that she cannot even operate the equipment that stabilizes her child’s lungs despite rigorous training offered to her (Exhibit2). She is dismally inattentive. But she is a fabulous cannon fodder for all the frivolities of life. What more can I do for a woman who is not my wife? I am 23. I ain’t ready for marriage or even fatherhood. But I have accepted my responsibilities as my father raised me to understand life and deal with all its challenges. The only reason why some of us are dancing naked in the market place today is because Sophia’s request to go to Dubai on my ticket was declined. She is demanding for her new car and a raise of her allowance to one million naira per month. The sole reason why she’s demanding for the custody of Imade is to justify the necessity for this delusional one million naira. A domestic matter that could have been quietly and sensibly settled has been tossed to the public domain with the brutal consequences to the most innocent actor in
this drama, Imade.
From December 23-28, Sophia lived at my father’s Lekki
residence in peace except for the first one hour when a
medication was misapplied by her and Imade speedily vomited for a fearfully long time. Sophia did not know how to even bathe her own baby. She brought a friend to stay with her in a 3-bedroom flat with a resident professional nurse and nanny.
Overall, her stay was joyful and in alignment with the thrills of the Christmas holiday season.
On December 29, less than 24hours of leaving my father’s
house, Sophia was at the airport in the company of her uncle and his wife with malice aforethought and the aim to do maximum damage that would obstruct her child from traveling aboard to receive necessary and needful medical care. She was welcome to join us if she had bought her ticket or her uncle had funded her for the trip.
I offered to buy her a car and suggested a Toyota brand or
Hyundai.
She lost her cool and told me off. She wanted a fancy jeep
and preferably, a Mercedes Benz Jeep. I laughed because she just wanted to be a Lagos Big Girl for nothing. She hardly can cope with the cheapest car much less the ruinous cost of maintaining a Mercedes Benz vehicle. In December she received 500,000 naira as her allowance without doing anything for Imade. Life is not a bed of roses. Neither have I ever promised Sophia a rose garden. Her spontaneous motions of delusions utterly baffle me!
On her twitter page, she claimed she has recovered Imade
from captivity. But Imade never was in captivity. Sophia
certainly knows where Imade is. And it is where she left her
on December 28, at my father’s house. What is the lie about?
Sophia also claimed that she hasn’t seen her daughter in 5
months This cannot be true. Sophie spent every Sunday with her baby at my father’s house since July 2015 when she voluntarily transferred Imade to the Adeleke family after the cannabis incidence. She and her daughter constantly appear on her face book and twitter pages throughout this period of 5 months. What manner of unreliable and lying person is Sophia.? The picture of your reconciliation with Imade after “captivity” that you posted on your twitter page came directly from the photo shoot that you posed for at my father’s house during your Christmas stay. Why can’t you ever be affable with truth nor have a relationship with honour?
Uncle Dele Momodu was the first to bring this domestic
matter online and onto the internet. Uncle Dele Momodu ran smack into the internet highway on December 30 with Video recordings that he dishonestly, immorally and unlawfully recorded at a government facility and office at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos. Uncle, you are wrong and you are not doing the right thing. By doing a thing so unlawful over a domestic mater between a 23-yearold boy and your niece is a bothersome slight that proved your niece must have learnt her sleazy ways from your own accomplished slap-happy conduct.
Life is beautiful if we all live in simple ways and do not
engage criminal gadgets to replace integrity and honour. Your worthless videorecordings has achieved nothing. But exposed your naivety and lack of decorum. Your recordings cannot alter the fact that I am “Davido” father of Imade and it cannot force me to be the husband of your cousin. In truth, I don’t know if you are uncle or cousin to Sophia. The word uncle has lost it esteem since the timethat sleazebucket took over our land. Still, Uncle Dele Momodu, it is immoral, unlawful and unethical to clandestinely record anyone, especially friends and family members. This scandalous act truly got you slaughtered and put a new slant on your person.
Late evening on December 30, I responded to your vicious
internet publications that attacked me and my family. As you well know, my response was a slam dunk that hurt you badly and diminished your person. You perhaps deserved what you got. But my father’s counsel and the love I have for Imade prompted me to recall the arrow aimed at you. You see, my father raised me well, and I promptly complied with his advise.
I thus deleted all references to the issue of December 29 at
the Airport and apologized to you in particular along with all my fans. I showed you respect even if u had drunkenly
provoked me.
Instead of reciprocating with love and elderly wisdom, you
sustained your attack of me with even more venom and
hatefulness. With all due respect for my dad, I am compelled to speak to your lies and your simulation of grand self-importance. I am 23 and you are almost 60. Your cousin has a baby for me. Rather than bring us together as a family, you wished for glowing embers to come out of cool cucumber. You know damn well how to grandstand.
This is why you instructed your lawyers to put garbage on
the internet in a matter that should be showcased in the court of law. Uncle, who offended you? Is it Davido, Sophia or Imade? It cannot be my late mum after whom I named Imade.
Is it my gentle dad? Why have you engaged yourself in a bitter private vendetta with my family? Uncle, you will have your day in court. But you will soonest be forced to embrace the fact that the crowning glory of your puffing and pride rests in your stunning emptiness. Again, I dare you, publish the garbage in your vanity trunk or perish!.
I am 23 and a performing artiste that God immensely blessed and I have joyfully made good in the industry. I won’t do this forever, and I shall timely step aside in the nearest future. I have a degree and I am stashing my monies aside so that I can build a decent future for Imade plus my future wife and family. I believe as the bible says, “every good gift is from above”.
There is nothing better in life than to tell the truth and pray.
May God ever stand by me and deliver to me my dreams and wishes. May He also deliver to your own children their dreams and desires. Uncle Dele Momodu, please, please leave me and my family alone even if it is clear, by God’s will, that you can’t do us a thing. As for me, this is the end of this conversation.
May God lead both of us to the righteous path.I thank you very much, sir.

Dollar rain for African Champions, Dream Team VI

EACH Nigeria player was paid the Naira equivalent of $4,000 after they beat Algeria 2-1 to clinch the 2015 AFCON in Dakar, Senegal, on Saturday night and this brings to a total of $12,000 each player was paid.
“We have been paid our winning bonus for the final,” a player confirmed on Sunday morning.
They would not have got anything had they lost the final. In total, each player received the Naira equivalent of $12,000 for winning the U-23 AFCON. Coach Samson Siasia was paid double this amount.
A further breakdown showed the team were paid the Naira equivalent of $4,000-a-player for the final win, $3,000-a-man for the semi-final win over hosts Senegal, $2,000-a-man for the opening-day win over Mali, and $1,000 for the draws with Egypt and Algeria.
They were also paid $100 per day for the 10 days they trained in The Gambia prior to this championship, which amounted to $1,000.

Zaria Clash: Killing of Shiite members by Army, dangerous – Fani-Kayode

Erstwhile Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has condemned the alleged killings of some members of Islamic Movement of Nigeria, during a clash between the Nigerian Army and members of the sect in Zaria, Kaduna State, on Saturday.

A statement by the Army spokesperson, Sani Usman, had alleged that the Shiite members barricaded the road Mr. Buratai’s motorcade was passing to pay homage on the Emir of Zazzau, and also attend a review parade by 73 Regular Recruit Intake at the Nigerian Army Depot in Zaria.
Sani said the sect numbering hundreds carrying dangerous weapons, barricaded the roads with bonfires, heavy stones and tyres, adding that they refused all entreaties to disperse and then started firing and pelting the convoy with dangerous objects.
He said the barricade was obviously a deliberate attempt to assassinate Buratai and members of his entourage.
But in a swift counter-reaction, the El-zakzaky-led Shiite sect, said the Army spokesperson was lying.
A statement signed by Isak K and posted on the website of the sect, said the claim that the COAS “narrowly escaped assassination as a result of attack from Muslim brothers and Sisters of the Islamic Movement is a blatant lie.”
The statement said Mr. Usman’s claim “raises series of questions in the mind of right thinking people.”
According to Isak, members of the movement who were unarmed were gathered for a ceremony at their Husainiyyah base, to change the flag on the dome of the building to herald the beginning of the month of Rabiul /Auwal- the birth month of the Prophet of Islam, Prophet Muhammad.
“Any excuse given by the military as reason for besieging Hussainiyyah and firing for hours, leading to the death of yet to be specified number of people, is considered a lie of the decade,” the movement said.
However, the invasion of El-zakzaky’s home by unspecified number of soldiers, Sunday, reportedly led to the death of no fewer than 20 members of the sect, including his son and wife.
Reacting however, Fani-Kayode in a Tweet, via his handle, @realFFK said: “The cold-blooded murder of 20 of the supporters of the Shia muslim leader, Ibrahim Elzakzaky by the Army today is condemnable and dangerous.”

Arsenal shoot to top of EPL table

Arsene Wenger said that Arsenal had enjoyed a “perfect week” after they won 2-0 at Aston Villa on Sunday to supplant Manchester City at the Premier League summit.
Arsenal reached the Champions League last 16 on Wednesday by winning 3-0 at Olympiakos, Olivier Giroud scoring all three goals, and the Frenchman set the London side on their way against Villa with an early penalty.
Aaron Ramsey doubled Arsenal’s lead before half-time, starting and finishing a swift counter-attack, as Wenger’s men leapfrogged both City and former leaders Leicester City, who host champions Chelsea on Monday.
“It was a perfect week for us,” Wenger told the BBC. “We spent a lot of energy away in the Champions League on Wednesday, but found the resources to win again here today (Sunday), in another away match.
“This season is so unpredictable that you just focus on yourself and try to play well in the next game. You know if you are consistent then you have a chance.”
Arsenal’s fans’ happiness at seeing their side go top was enhanced hours later when arch rivals Tottenham Hotspur’s 14-game unbeaten run was ended by a 2-1 home defeat at the hands of Newcastle United.
Meanwhile, substitute Divock Origi scored a 96th-minute equaliser as Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool drew 2-2 at home to West Bromwich Albion.
At Villa Park, Giroud sent Brad Guzan the wrong way from the penalty spot in the eighth minute after Alan Hutton was penalised for holding back Theo Walcott, which gave the France striker his 50th Arsenal league goal.
Ramsey made it 2-0 seven minutes before half-time, tackling Idrissa Gueye in midfield and sparking a move that saw the ball pass from Walcott to Mesut Ozil, who squared the ball for the Welshman to roll home.
In keeping Villa at bay, Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech equalled former England international David James’s Premier League record of 169 clean sheets.
Villa manager Remi Garde had been hoping to get one over his former mentor Wenger, who signed him as a player at Arsenal, but his team remain eight points adrift of safety at the foot of the table.
Arsenal went a point clear of City and Leicester and four points above fourth-place Manchester United, who lost 2-1 at Bournemouth on Saturday.

Tottenham would have moved above United had they beaten Newcastle, but they remain fifth, three points below the Champions League berths, after late goals from substitutes Aleksandar Mitrovic and Ayoze Perez took Steve McClaren’s side out of the relegation zone at Norwich City’s expense.
Eric Dier’s glancing header from Christian Eriksen’s corner gave Spurs a 39th-minute lead, but Mitrovic poked home an equaliser two minutes after coming on as a 72nd-minute substitute before Perez squeezed a winner beneath Hugo Lloris in the third minute of added time.
“We are very disappointed in the dressing room,” said Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino.
“This is our 16th league game and our second defeat. It is a bad feeling, but we need to work hard and look forward.”
Newcastle manager McClaren said his side had “answered the critics”, but warned: “We haven’t turned the corner yet. We need more performances like that.”

Okonjo-Iweala makes public memo on arms deal

The former Finance Minister and the Coordinating Minister for the Economy, Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has released a memo in respect of the arms deal saga.

The former Minister in an email said thus:
Compliments. For the past week, Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole and other compromised persons and media have embarked on a campaign of falsehood against Dr Okonjo-Iweala. They have distorted the contents of the January 20 memo in which she responded to a request by the former National Security Adviser and quoted selectively from the document to make their false allegations of “illegal diversion” of funds.
For your information and a fuller understanding of the issues, please see the January 20 memo by Dr Okonjo-Iweala as published. It confirms that Dr Okonjo-Iweala is a transparent person of integrity and patriotic professional who worked hard to protect the interest of the country and that her accusers are purveyors of falsehood on a political mission to tarnish an innocent patriot.
Many thanks.
